Homework is part of the teaching and learning routine for our pupils. We feel is assists with childrens' learning, helping them to become more independent and allowing them to research for educational development.

At Scoil Bhríde we have invested greatly into IT development with the procurement of new iPads. We have also invested in Online Learning Platforms to develop literacy (Accelerated Reader) and Numeracy skills, (Mathlethics) and all classes also use the educational platform Seesaw. Therefore we feel we are well prepared to assist distance learning if called upon.

Even though the traditional style of homework is still an integral part of our approach at Scoil Bhríde, the learning platform Apps we use offer a blended approach and incorporate IT that stimulates learning in a contemporary way.

Homework should never be a stressful ordeal. Should you have concerns about homework that it is too difficult or taking excessively long please notify your child's teacher.
